The end of the year is always a slow time for me when it comes to my creative output. Most of my energy goes to celebrating the holidays with my family and resting. The holiday season was a totally different experience for me this year now that I have a child. He is almost a year old! Its been hard working full time, adjusting to motherhood, and trying to maintain my creative work. However, now that he’s sleeping better, we have more of a routine, I foresee 2024 having a little bit of a comeback for me. It’s been good for me to step away from my art for a little while. The well of inspiration was starting to feel a bit dry, but that I’ve had so many new experiences, I’m ready to bring that into my art.
Thanks to everyone who has supported my work this year. I appriciate all the attention you’ve given to my work. Have a wonderful 2024 and stay tuned for more art.

Pretty much since the beginning of my pregnancy I’ve been spending less time on creative works. In part because the pregnancy itself has made me tired, but I also have been busy working on my house to prepare for the baby and taking as much paid work as possible to have some money aside for all the medical expenses and time that I will need to take off. With that said, its almost time to deliver the baby, so I will be taking a break for a few weeks. Probably won’t be back here until late March-early April. If you’d like to book me for commissioned video work, the soonest I would be available is late Spring-early Summer. Feel free to hit me up through my contact form in the meantime to book the job, I will get back to you asap.

I’ve been so busy that its been hard for me to keep up the previous pace of my creative work. I think I need to dial it back for the next few months until I finish some of these unrelated-to-my-art projects I’ve been working on. I really want to start something new anyways. I feel bored with my own work lately. I think I will probably pause the Substack version of these blog posts too. Its redundant and time consuming to post here on my own website just to duplicate it for the newsletter that hardly anyone reads. I’ll pick back up over there if I can come up with a more original way to use it.
